The focus is on: trends-financial conditions-liquidity measures.There are a wide variety of options to choose from. The ones presented by Jen Brutus (Attached) are among the more common ones. There should be a minimum of four charts, with written interpretation on each. Higher scoring papers will have more depth or analysis. One possible approach: Cash solvency. Calculate the days of operation and either the current ratio or cash ratio for multiple years. Budgetary solvency. Report and interpret annual budget surplus/deficit and/or fund balances for multiple years. Trends. You could add one or more charts that look at trend over time. For example, you could look at overall changes in revenue or expenditures, changes in a major revenue source, or changes in a particular type of expenditure.
